PostRoost is a social media scheduler built around clients. Plan each brand's month on its own calendar, write once and tailor the caption per network, collect sign-off from the right people, and see what each post did afterwards.
Most schedulers start from a list of social accounts. PostRoost starts from the client: each brand has its own connected accounts, calendar, brand voice, time zone and approval rule. Your team switches between clients, not between tabs.
Plan Lay out the month on the client’s calendar, or upload a spreadsheet of posts in one go.
Write One caption, adjusted for each network, with live previews and character counts.
Approve The client or a senior teammate signs off before anything is scheduled.
Publish and measure Posts go out at the client’s local time and the numbers come back automatically.
One caption, tailored for every network
Write the message once under All networks, then open a network’s tab to change only what that network needs: a shorter version for X, hashtags for Instagram, a link card on LinkedIn. Character counts and previews update as you type.
Photos and videos with alt text, in the order you choose
First comments on Instagram, Facebook and X
Save as draft, submit for approval, schedule for later or post now
Turn on approval for a client and every post waits for sign-off. Approvers approve, request changes with a note, or reject. Anything that needs work lands in the author’s Actions list with the reason, so nothing stalls quietly.
AI is everywhere now. Use it where it actually helps.
Social media has changed: audiences scroll faster, every network wants its own format, and AI writing tools are in every app. PostRoost builds an AI writing assistant into the composer, set up for client work rather than generic copy.
Draft from a brief: describe the post and get a general version plus one per selected network, each within that network’s character limit
In the client’s voice: it writes with the brand voice you saved for that client, including words to use and avoid
Polish what you have: three alternative tones, suggested hashtags, a stronger opening, grammar fixes, or a cut that fits the tightest network
Check before it ships: a risk check lists possible legal, reputational, cultural or accessibility issues without touching your text
The assistant suggests; people decide. Nothing it writes is used until you choose it, and every post is still scheduled, approved and published by your team. The Free plan includes 5 assistant requests a week; every paid plan is unlimited.
No tool can honestly promise more followers. What a scheduler can do is remove the everyday reasons good posts underperform: gaps in the calendar, copy pasted unchanged onto every network, posts that go out at 3 a.m. in the client’s city, and nobody checking what worked. PostRoost is built to take those away.
Show up consistently. The month calendar makes gaps obvious, and bulk upload fills a month from one spreadsheet, so publishing does not depend on someone remembering on a busy Friday.
Speak each network’s language. Tailor the caption per network, with hashtags where they belong and links only where they are clickable.
Start the conversation. Schedule a first comment on Instagram, Facebook and X, for the extra link, hashtags or a question to your audience.
Post when the client’s audience is awake. Every client has its own time zone, so 9:00 means 9:00 where the client is, not where your team sits.
Learn from the numbers. Engagement reports compare each period with the last one, so you can see which posts travelled and plan more of them.
Numbers you can put in a client report
Followers, impressions, reactions and comments compared with the previous period, a post engagement report with daily charts per account, audience growth and a CSV export. PostRoost keeps refreshing each post’s numbers for 90 days after it goes out.
Every plan connects unlimited social accounts. Choose by how many clients you manage, how many people work with you and whether posts need approval. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, once per agency.
Agencies, shop owners and creators on planning, approving and publishing with PostRoost.
What sold me was that every client is its own space. The bakery's calendar never shows the law firm's posts, and when I open a client their logo is right there, so I always know whose voice I'm writing in.
PPriya N.Founder, Harrow Lane Studio
Our approvals used to live in e-mail threads nobody could find. Now the client presses approve or leaves a note on the post itself, and the writer sees it in Actions the next morning. The back-and-forth finally has one home.
DDaniel O.Account Director, Quillfox Social
I plan each client's month in a spreadsheet anyway, so bulk upload was the feature I didn't know I needed. It flags the rows with a missing image or a caption that's too long for X before anything is created.
SSofia R.Social Media Manager, Bramblewick Media
Paying per agency instead of per channel changed how we quote. A new client with six accounts doesn't change our software bill, and the meter tells us how many client slots we have left.
MMarcus T.Managing Partner, Tallgrass Collective
Writing once under All networks and then fixing just the LinkedIn tab sounds small. Across forty posts a month it is the difference between tailored captions and copy-paste.
HHannah W.Content Lead, Northpine Creative
Clients get their own login and only ever see their own brand. One of ours is a medical practice, and being able to show them a record of who approved each post matters to them.
Our account managers live in the client list. At a glance I can see which client has posts waiting for approval and which has something that failed, instead of opening seven dashboards.
RRachel B.Head of Social, Saltmarsh Digital
Month-end used to mean screenshots. Now I export the CSV from the engagement report, drop it into our report template and spend the time on the recommendations instead.
OOlu A.Strategist, Ninefold Studio
I run the shop and the socials. On Monday evening I write the week's posts, ask the assistant for Instagram hashtags, and then I genuinely forget about it until Friday.
EEllie M.Owner, Wrenfield Bakehouse
Our clinic has a brand voice saved in PostRoost: calm, plain English, no medical promises. The AI drafts in that voice, and the risk check catches the odd line that sounds like a guarantee.
GGraham H.Practice Manager, Hollins Physio
Started on the free plan to see if it stuck. It did. Moving up was a few clicks and nothing I had already scheduled moved or disappeared.
AAna L.Co-owner, Ostler & Reed Florists
We're in Lisbon but half our audience is in the UK. Setting the time zone once and scheduling in it means I stop doing time arithmetic in my head.
RRui P.Marketing Coordinator, Cobblestone Cycle Works
Two of us post and the practice owner signs off. Turning on approval means nothing goes out without her, and she can approve from her phone's browser between patients.
LLeah K.Front Office Lead, Fennbrook Dental
One recipe video becomes a YouTube upload, a Reel and a TikTok. Seeing all three on the same day in the calendar, each with its own caption, keeps a launch from falling apart.
JJess C.Food Creator, Marlow Makes
My manager reviews every sponsored post before it goes live. She leaves her notes on the post, I fix it, resubmit, and there's no chasing over DMs.
TTess V.Outdoor Creator, Switchback Tess
I write long, and X does not. The assistant's shorten option gets me a version that fits, and I still get to decide whether it sounds like me before I use it.
KKofi D.Writer and Illustrator, Inkwell Sundays
Every product launch starts as a sheet: date, caption, image link, product page. Bulk upload turns it into scheduled posts, and the Pins land on the right board with the product link attached.
MMei S.Ecommerce Manager, Larkspur Goods
We put the shop link in the first comment on Instagram and Facebook, tagged with our UTM naming, so our shop analytics finally show which network sent the visit.
BBen F.Founder, Stillwater Tea Co.
Sale posts are where mistakes cost money. Running the risk check before approval has caught a missing end date and a 'best price anywhere' line we couldn't back up.
CChloe J.Brand Manager, Brightknot Apparel
The post engagement report compares this month with last month per account, so I can see which product photos people actually saved and plan the next drop around them.

Get your next month of posts approved and scheduled
Start on the Free plan with one client, or try any paid plan with a 14-day free trial. Upgrade when you need approvals, more people or more clients.
Moving an agency to a new scheduler is mostly about not losing anything and not posting anything twice. A step-by-step checklist from inventory to cut-over to cancelling the old tool.
Most monthly social reports are exported charts nobody opens twice. A structure for a one-page report that answers the client's question, explains the numbers and ends with decisions.
AI can draft a caption in seconds, but someone still signs it off. A practical checklist for reviewing AI-assisted social posts: facts, claims, voice, per-network fit and accessibility.
A web application for planning, approving, publishing and measuring social media posts. Each client (brand) has its own connected accounts, calendar, brand voice, time zone, approval rule and users, and one subscription covers all of an agency's clients.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan covers one client and one user, with up to 10 posts waiting to go out at a time, 5 AI requests a week and 30 days of analytics. No card is needed and it does not expire.
Is there a free trial of the paid plans?
Yes. Every paid plan includes a 14-day free trial, available once per agency. If the trial ends without a paid subscription, the agency returns to the Free plan's limits and nothing is deleted.
How is PostRoost priced?
Per agency, not per social account or per seat. Every plan connects as many social accounts as you like; plans differ by the number of clients, users and features, from one brand up to unlimited clients on Enterprise.
Which networks does PostRoost publish to?
Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest. Each network has its own requirements and limits, which we list on its integration page.
Can my clients approve posts before they go out?
Yes, on the Team plan and above. Turn on approval for a client and add the client's people with an Owner or Admin role; they approve, request changes with a note or reject, and only see their own brand.
Does the AI assistant post anything by itself?
No. The writing assistant only suggests text inside the composer, and a suggestion is used only when you choose it. A person still schedules, submits for approval or publishes every post.
Can I schedule a month of posts in one go?
Yes, from the Essentials plan. Upload a CSV or Excel file with one row per post; PostRoost checks every row before it creates anything and lists the rows that need fixing.
Can I move over from another scheduling tool?
Yes. Reconnect your social accounts in PostRoost, then export your planned posts from the old tool into a spreadsheet and use bulk upload. Past posts and analytics from another tool are not imported; PostRoost starts collecting numbers for the posts it publishes.
Is there a mobile app?
No. PostRoost runs in your web browser, including on a phone, but there are no native iOS or Android apps.
