Bulk schedule a month of posts from one spreadsheet
Upload a CSV or Excel file with one row per post. PostRoost checks every row before it creates anything, shows you what is ready and what is not, and schedules the rest in one go.
Included from the Essentials plan ($15 a month) upwards.

Checked before anything is created
Each row is checked for a valid date, accounts that exist, each network’s character limit and media requirements (Instagram and TikTok need media, YouTube needs a video). You see every row with its status; rows with problems are skipped and listed so you can fix them in the sheet. Posts are created as scheduled, or as pending approval when the client requires approval.

Change many posts at once
On the Posts screen, tick rows (or Select all) and Delete them, or + Add network to send the selected posts to more accounts. Published posts are never deleted or reassigned. Each post also remembers its networks: if an account is disconnected and later reconnected, its unpublished posts get that network back.
Frequently asked questions
10 questions
Which file types work?
CSV and Excel (.xlsx). Download the template from the bulk upload page, or use our calendar template, which has the same columns.
What if some rows are wrong?
Nothing is created until you confirm. Rows with problems are listed with the reason and skipped; the valid rows are created.
Can I upload images with the sheet?
Yes. Put links in the media column, or put file names and add the files in the second picker; PostRoost matches them by name. Uploads need media storage to be configured for your workspace.
Which plans include bulk upload?
Essentials and every plan above it. On Free, posts are created one at a time in the composer.
Which date and time formats are accepted?
Dates such as 2026-11-03, 11/3/2026 (month first) or an Excel date cell, and times such as 10:30 or 6:15 PM in the client's time zone. A row without a time is scheduled for 10:00.
How do I choose which accounts a row goes to?
Put network names, @handles or account names in the accounts column, separated by commas or |. A blank accounts cell sends the row to every active account of the client.
Can a row have several images?
Yes. Separate links or file names with | in the media column, and give alt text in the same order in the alt column. A row can have up to 10 media items, and each network's own limits still apply, such as 4 images on X.
Can I upload posts dated in the past?
No. Rows with a date and time in the past are flagged and skipped, so an old sheet cannot publish a backlog by accident.
Will bulk-uploaded posts wait for approval?
If the client requires approval, yes: they are created as pending approval. Otherwise they are scheduled straight away.
Can one file cover several clients?
No. Each upload belongs to the client you open it from, and the accounts column only matches that client's accounts. Upload one file per client.
