Everything in Essentials, plus as many people as you need, an approval step before posts are scheduled, the Actions list for anything that needs work, client roles and priority support.
An in-house team or a brand with an outside agency, where more than one person writes and someone must sign off before anything goes live. Also a good fit when a client wants to see and approve their own posts.
How the approval step works
Turn on Posts need admin approval before publishing in the client’s settings. Writers submit posts; approvers see them under Approvals with a count in the sidebar, and approve, request changes with a note, or reject. Posts sent back appear in the writer’s Actions list with the reason. Read the full workflow.
Billing
Pay $35/month, or $336/year when billed yearly ($28/month billed yearly). The 14-day trial is available once per agency.
Frequently asked questions
10 questions
Who can approve posts?
Agency owners and admins, and the owner or admins of the client. Editors write and submit; viewers read and comment.
Can our client log in to approve?
Yes. Add them as a client user with the Owner or Admin role for their brand. They only see that client.
Is there a limit on users?
No. Team includes unlimited users across agency staff and client users, at the same price.
Do approvers get an e-mail when something is waiting?
Not yet. Approvers see the number of posts waiting next to Approvals in the sidebar; posts sent back show in the writer's Actions list.
Can a post be approved without a date?
Yes. Writers can submit for approval before choosing a time, and the post is scheduled once it is approved and has a date.
What is the Actions list?
A per-person list of posts that need work: changes requested, rejected, or failed to publish. Each item shows the reviewer's note or the network's error, with Edit and resubmit, Retry or Delete.
What does priority support mean?
Team, Standard, Professional and Enterprise agencies are marked for priority support, so their e-mail requests are picked up first. It is not a dedicated account manager, a phone line or a guaranteed response time.
Does Team cover several brands?
Team is for one client. Standard (3 clients), Professional (10 clients) and Enterprise (no client limit) carry every Team feature for each client.
Is there a trial or a yearly price?
Both. Team has a 14-day free trial once per agency, and costs $336 a year when billed yearly ($28 a month) instead of $35 billed monthly.
What happens to approvals if we move down to Essentials?
PostRoost asks you to resolve the approval setting and any posts still waiting for review before the change, and lists exactly what to do. Nothing waiting for approval is published on its own.
