About PostRoost

PostRoost is social media scheduling and approval software for agencies and the brands they look after. This page sticks to what we can show you.

What we make

PostRoost is a web application for planning, approving, publishing and measuring social media posts across several clients. Each client has its own connected accounts, calendar, brand voice, time zone, approval rule and users, and one subscription per agency covers all of them. The rooster in our logo is carrying a calendar, which is the whole idea: the right post, out at the right time.

Who it is for

Agencies and freelancers who run social media for other businesses, and in-house teams who need sign-off before anything is published. The product is designed around the moment a client asks “can I see it before it goes out?”.

How we describe the product

Security basics

Social network access tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Paid access is granted only from payment state confirmed directly with our payment provider, never from a browser redirect. Customer data is not deleted when a plan changes or a subscription ends.

Frequently asked questions

10 questions

What is PostRoost?

Social media scheduling and approval software for agencies and the brands they look after. Each client has its own accounts, calendar, brand voice, time zone, approval rule and users.

Who is PostRoost for?

Agencies and freelancers who run social media for other businesses, and in-house teams that need sign-off before anything is published. Small businesses and creators use it for one brand.

Why do you price per agency rather than per account?

Agencies connect many accounts per client, and per-account pricing punishes exactly that. One subscription with unlimited accounts keeps the cost tied to the number of brands you manage.

How do you decide what appears on this website?

We only describe features that exist today. Network limits come from the networks' own documentation, and comparisons link to the other company's pages with the date we checked them.

Do you publish a roadmap?

No. We do not promise dates for features that are not built. When something ships, it appears on this site.

How is customer data protected?

Social network access tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM), card payments are handled by Stripe and never stored by PostRoost, and paid access follows payment state confirmed directly with Stripe. Our privacy policy has the details.

Does PostRoost use AI?

Yes, in the writing assistant inside the composer, which uses Anthropic's Claude models. It only suggests text; people choose what to use and publish.

Why do some networks have limitations?

Every network controls what third-party tools may do through its developer programme and app review. Our integration pages say what works, what needs approval from the network and what is not supported.
