Who it suits

A solo social media manager or owner-operator who publishes often for one brand and wants the time-savers: upload a month of posts from a spreadsheet, schedule the first comment with the post, and send a proper report at the end of the month.

What changes from Free

The 10-waiting-posts limit goes (fair use: 5,000 per client), the AI assistant becomes unlimited, analytics keep their full history and add the post engagement and audience growth reports with CSV export, and bulk upload and first-comment scheduling switch on.

Billing

Pay $15/month, or $144/year when billed yearly ($12/month billed yearly). The 14-day trial is available once per agency.

Frequently asked questions

10 questions

What does fair use 5,000 mean?

Each client can have up to 5,000 posts waiting to go out at once. That is meant as a safety limit, not a target.

Can I try it first?

Yes. Essentials includes a 14-day free trial, available once per agency. If you do not continue, the agency returns to the Free plan's limits and nothing is deleted.

How much is Essentials billed yearly?

$144 a year, which works out at $12 a month, compared with $15 billed monthly.

Can a colleague log in?

Not on Essentials: it includes one user. Team adds unlimited users, approvals and client roles.

Is the AI assistant really unlimited?

Yes, there is no weekly allowance on Essentials. Every suggestion still needs you to choose it before it goes into a post.

How far back do the analytics go?

There is no 30-day cut-off: you can look at the full history PostRoost has collected for your accounts, with the post engagement and audience growth reports and CSV export.

Which networks support the first comment?

Instagram, Facebook and X. PostRoost posts it straight after the main post: as a comment on Instagram and Facebook (as the Page), and as a reply on X.

Can I manage two brands on Essentials?

No, Essentials covers one client. For more brands, Standard covers 3 clients, Professional 10 and Enterprise has no client limit, all with every Team feature.

Does Essentials include approvals?

No. Approval workflows, the Actions list and client roles start on the Team plan, because they need more than one person.

Can I switch from monthly to yearly later?

Yes. A change of billing interval is scheduled for the end of the current billing period, so you are not charged twice for the same time.
