The reports
Overview: followers, new followers, posts, post impressions, reactions and likes, and comments, each compared with the previous period of the same length, plus your top posts.
Post engagement: posts, engagement, average engagement rate, reactions, comments, shares, saves, impressions and clicks. Each has a big number with the change, and a daily line chart per account: this period solid, the previous one dashed.
Audience growth: followers over time, collected once a day per account, with a per-account table.
All posts: every network post in the period with its numbers. Export CSV downloads the totals and the table.
Pick the last 7, 14, 30 or 90 days, or a custom range. Numbers are attributed to the day the post went live.

How fresh are the numbers?
After a post goes out, PostRoost refreshes its numbers every 15 minutes for two days, hourly for a week, then daily, then weekly up to 90 days. Every post page also has Refresh now.
What each network shares
Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts and X share post and follower numbers. LinkedIn shares them for Company Pages only. YouTube shares views, likes and comments per video; Pinterest shares impressions, clicks and saves. TikTok numbers depend on an extra permission that the current connection does not request. Details are on each integration page.
Frequently asked questions
10 questions
How is engagement rate calculated?
Engagements (likes and reactions, comments, shares and saves) divided by impressions for the period, shown as a percentage.
Why are some numbers missing for a network?
Each network decides which numbers it shares with third-party tools. LinkedIn, for example, only shares post numbers for Company Pages. The integration pages list what each network returns.
How far back can I look?
30 days on the Free plan (overview only); the full history PostRoost has collected on every paid plan.
How often are the numbers updated?
Every 15 minutes for the first two days after a post goes out, hourly for a week, then daily, then weekly up to 90 days. Refresh now on a post page fetches the latest numbers immediately.
What is in the CSV export?
The totals and the table of every post in the date range you choose, with its numbers, ready for a spreadsheet or a client report. CSV export is included from Essentials.
Can I compare this month with last month?
Yes. Every number in the overview and the post engagement report is compared with the previous period of the same length, and the daily charts show the previous period as a dashed line.
Are follower counts tracked over time?
Yes. PostRoost records each account's follower count once a day for the audience growth report. That history starts when the account is connected; earlier history is not imported.
Does it include posts published outside PostRoost?
Post numbers are collected for the posts PostRoost publishes. Follower counts are read for the whole account, wherever the network shares them.
Does PostRoost track website visits or sales?
No. It reports what the networks share, including link clicks where available. Tag your links with the UTM builder to see visits and sales in your own web analytics.
Can each client see their own analytics?
Yes. Client users see the analytics of the clients they belong to, and never another brand's numbers.
