Frequently asked questions

10 questions

Who writes the PostRoost blog?

The PostRoost team: the people who build and support the product. Articles are reviewed against the networks' own documentation where they mention limits or rules.

Is the advice only useful if I use PostRoost?

No. Every article is written to work with any tool or with a spreadsheet. Where PostRoost helps, we say so briefly and link to the feature.

How do you check facts about the networks?

We link to the network's own developer or help documentation whenever we cite a limit, a permission or a format. If we cannot find an official source, we leave the number out.

Why are there no "best time to post" statistics here?

Because published benchmarks rarely match a specific audience, and we do not publish numbers we cannot source. We explain how to test timing with your own client's results instead.

Can I suggest a topic?

Yes. Send it through the contact page; questions from agencies and in-house teams shape what we write next.

I found something out of date. What should I do?

Tell us through the contact page with the article and the part that changed. Networks change their rules often, and we update articles when they do.

Can I quote or share an article?

Yes, please link to it. Short quotes with a link back are fine; please do not republish whole articles.

How are articles organised?

By category: social media strategy, agency operations, approvals and workflow, analytics and reporting, AI and content, and platform guides. Each article also lists its date.

Where are the step-by-step guides and templates?

In Resources: evergreen guides, a downloadable calendar and report template, an approval checklist and free browser tools.

Do I need an account to read the blog?

No. Every article, guide, template and tool is free to read and use without signing up.
